The Criminal Student Association (HIMADANA) of the UMA Faculty of Law conducted a socialization to the Tanjung Gusta Children's Special Prison (LPKA) Medan on Jl. Tanjung Gusta Penitentiary Medan, on Saturday, July 6, 2019.
The form of the event was the Youth Motivation Inspirational Seminar Work with the theme "Prison Not the End of Everything". The opening was commenced with remarks by the Head of Tanjung Gusta LPKA accompanied by opening a seminar, and remarks by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Faculty of Law Ridho Mubarak, SH., MH. Head of Criminal Affairs Wessy Trisna SH., MH, lecturer, and Criminal students also attended the socialization.
In this case, explained the basic principles of a formation, the purpose of fostering, the rights and obligations of criminal convicts and correctional students (RI Government Regulation No.32 of 199), and the programs of coaching / education of prisoners. After the seminar the Faculty of Law UMA entertained the Fostered Children with Games.
The socialization aims to provide motivation and enthusiasm for the LPKA Fostered Children of Tanjung Gusta to also provide encouragement to become better personalities and to make changes for the better.
