Wednesday, November 13, 2019, Rector of Medan Area University, Prof. Dr. Dadan Ramdan, M.Eng, M.Sc inaugurated Dr. Ir. Sumihar Hutapea, MS as the Head of the Institute for Research and Community Service, where the previous position was held by Prof. Dr. Ir. Ahmad Rafiqi Tantawi, MS. The event was held in the Medan Area University Rector Meeting Room and was attended by all functionaries and LP2M staff.
Also present was the Vice Chancellor for Administration, Dr. Utary Maharani Barus, SH, M.Hum and also Head of Personnel, Yuana Delvika, ST, MT along with their staff and functionaries.
The event was opened with a prayer led by Fauzi Wikanda, S.Pd.I, M.Pd.I. Then proceed with the reading of the Decree of the Medan Area University Chancellor by the Head of Personnel and the signing of the Handover Manuscript by Prof. Dr. Ir. Ahmad Rafiqi Tantawi, MS to Dr. Ir. Sumihar Hutapea, MS.
The event also continued with the reading of the Oath of Position by the new Head of LP2M, Dr. Ir. Sumihar Hutapea, MS and also the Opening by the Rector of Medan Area University.
"LP2M this year has experienced an increase in the amount of research and service and output produced, for this reason it is hoped that with the new LP2M Head, in the future LP2M can further improve the quality of rese
rch and service "said Prof. Dadan.
The event then ended with a group photo session and congratulations to the Head of LP2M University of Medan Area, Dr. Ir. Sumihar Hutapea, MS.
