Agus Salim Hajj Education Foundation Medan Area University held a joint opening to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan on Wednesday, May 22, 2019. Fasting was held at the Taqwa Mosque, University of Medan, Campus Area II, Jl Setia Budi no. 79 Medan.
Breaking the Fast with the Academic Community of the University of Medan Area organized by the Chair of the Hajj Agus Salim Education Foundation and at the same time commemorating Nuzul Qur’an on May 22, 2019 1440 H.
The Chairman of the Hajj Agus Salim Education Foundation was present, Drs. M. Erwin Siregar, MBA, Medan Area University Rector Mr. Prof. Dr. Dadan Ramdan M.Eng, M.Sc, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Dr. Ir. Hj. Siti Mardiana, M.Sc, Vice Chancellor for Administration Dr. Utary Maharany Barus, SH., M.Hum, Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs Mr. Muazzul, SH, M.Hum, Deputy Chancellor for Cooperation Dr. Ir. Zulheri Noer, MP and the Deans, Functionaries, Employees and Students of the University of Medan Area also attended this joint opening activity.
The joint breaking of the fast before the Haji Agus Salim Education Foundation was part of routine activities every year during the month of Ramadan at the University of Medan Area. Various activities that have been prepared by Agus Salim Hajj Education Foundation (YPHAS), one of which is the Gathering to improve Ramadan in 1438 H, Ramadan Lectures, breaking fast together, helping orphans, tadarus and activities coordinated by the Islamic Center of UMA aimed at perfecting Ramadan.
