The Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) of the University of Medan Area held Internal Auditor Training activities for prospective auditors which were held for 2 days, namely Monday, March 29, 2021, & Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at the Convention Hall lt. 1 Chancellor's Bureau. On the first day of this training was attended by the Rector of the University of Medan Area Prof. Dr. Dadan Ramdan M.Eng, M.Sc who is also the 1st resource person at this training, the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Dr. Ir. Hj. Siti Mardiana, M.Si, and also a participant in the activity.
On the first day, it was opened by the Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ir. Hj. Siti Mardiana, M.Si, which in her direction stated that the importance of Internal Auditor Training activities in the University's efforts to increase the number of auditors is expected to improve the results of the Internal Quality Audit Report (AMI) to be even better, and also to encourage participants and can get good results.
After that, a pre-test was carried out to all participants who were present before continuing with the provision of material by resource person 1 in this case Prof. Dr. Dadan Ramdan M.Eng, M.Sc, with the material presented about the National Policy on the Quality Assurance System for Higher Education and the SPMI Policy at the University of Medan Area to the participants.
Then continued with a 30-minute question and answer session, the prospective Internal Auditors were very enthusiastic about participating in this activity by following a series of activities on the first day and being active in this training by seriously asking the speakers. With the completion of this question-and-answer session, the first day of the Medan Area University Internal Auditor Training session was also completed, at the end of the opportunity it was also informed that participants who did not attend on the first day were declared invalid in this training and might be able to take part in the UMA Internal Auditor Training in the next batch, and also after the first day's session is over, the Internal Auditor Training will be continued on the 2nd day which will be held the next day, March 30, 2021.
