In the context of evaluating the implementation of supervision and control activities and coaching at Private Universities (PTS). The North Sumatra Region I Higher Education Service Institute (LLDikti) held a Bidikmisi Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) program at the Medan Area University Campus (UMA), Friday 17 January 2020.
The activity was attended by the North Sumatra Region I Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Team Salahuddin, SH (Chairman / Expert Team), Zunaira Imataya, SE., M.Sc (Member), T.M Putra Ramadhansyah, S.Kom (Member) Nelmi Dwi Kamila (Member).
The activity took place in the University of Medan Area Rector's Meeting Room. In addition, he also accompanied the Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs Muazzul, SH, M.Hum, Head of Administration and Student Affairs (BAK) Sri Irawati, S. Sos, MAP., And BAK Staff.

In this monitoring and evaluation for the Bidikmisi scholarship program, the distribution of questionnaire instruments was carried out. The questionnaire given was filled by students receiving bidikmisi scholarships or student representatives from each faculty. From the results of the questionnaire, it will be seen which side needs to be improved and which side is improved.
In his remarks Salahuddin, SH said that the Monev activity was aimed at gathering information through filling out questionnaires and discussions with scholarship managers and recipients as well as knowing whether the programs at the Private Higher Education went as planned and the extent of the successful implementation of tertiary institutions, how far success that has been achieved in a certain period of time what are the obstacles that occur and how to overcome these problems.
The Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and the Head of the Student Administration Bureau were ready to conduct Monev by LLDIKTI Region I of North Sumatra. This Monev is an input to UMA to become a better campus in the future both at the Regional, Provincial and National levels.
"I expect the Monitoring and Evaluation on the UMA campus to run smoothly and get good results from the LLDIKTI Region I Monitoring and Evaluation Team in North Sumatra, UMA continues to improve and continue to innovate and improve the Quality of Higher Education Tridharma," he said.

At the end of Salahuddin's assessment, SH (Chair / Team of Experts) said that the results of the Monev at UMA were Good and hopefully in the future it would be improved to be better, then the Monev was closed with a photo session with the Bidikmisi students and the LLDikti Region I Monitoring and Evaluation team North Sumatra.
