The University of Medan Area academic community held a red and white flag raising in commemoration of the 74th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia's independence, the red and white flag raising ceremony was held at Campus II of the University of Medan Area at Jalan Setia Budi No. 79 B Medan.
Acting as the inspector ceremony was the Vice Chancellor for Collaboration in the University of Medan Area Dr. Ir. Zulheri Noer, MP, while the raising of the red and white flag was carried out by the Paskibraka group which came from students of SMK Nusa Penida.
Also attending the event, Mr. YPHAS Board of Directors Drs. M. Erwin Siregar, M.BA, ladies and gentlemen of record representatives, Deans, Ladies Director of the Postgraduate Program Prof. Dr. Ir. Retna Astuti K., MS and all lecturers and staff in the Medan Area University community.
The Vice Chancellor for Cooperation in his remarks said "let us continue to work to develop research, technology and higher education and to make proud achievements to strengthen our pride and confidence in Indonesia. Keep working, keep innovating, keep on achieving. OUR WORK, NATION ACHIEVEMENTS. "
