Teacher and Student Training; Based on the Memorandum of Understanding and the MoA between Medan Area University and the Maroban Bisuk Foundation on Education, Research and Community Service Number: 983 / UMA.'12 / VIII / 2020.
Medan Area University held a collaboration with SMA Negeri 2 Plus Panyabungan which is supported by the UMA Research and Community Service Institute. This mutual understanding is made with the aim of helping each other in institutional development, as well as supporting each other in carrying out tasks.
Chairman of the Marbisuk Foundation, Prof. Ir. Zulkarnain Lubis, MS, Ph.D conveyed the history of the Marbisuk Foundation and his enthusiasm for the collaboration between Medan Area University and the Marbisuk Foundation. He hopes that this activity can provide benefits in the form of skills and knowledge for Teachers and Students of SMA Negeri 2 Plus Panyabungan and also benefits for UMA lecturers in the form of community service activities. He also hopes that this activity can run smoothly, because the training is carried out online.
LP2M UMA as the Coordinator and Executor held Teacher and Student Training activities for the Panyabungan 2 Plus SMA Negeri Olympiad. This activity was held from 10 - 22 February 2021. The activity took place online through the Zoom Meeting Platform.
The subjects trained are Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Economics, and ICT. This training is aimed at improving skills and understanding of the material as well as a test to face the Olympics held by SMA Negeri 2 Plus Panyabungan.
LP2M UMA also made a direct visit to SMA Negeri 2 Plus Panyabungan to conduct a survey on the feasibility of the Master Plan Agro Eco Edu Tourism on 23-25 ??February 2021. The Agro Eco Edu Tourism Team that departed were: Ir. Suprayitno, MT, Indah Apriliya, SP, M.Si, Angga Ade Sahfitra, SP, M.Sc, Muhammad Habibie, SE, M.Ak, Aulia Muflih Nst, ST, M.Sc and led by the Head of LP2M, Dr. Ir. Sumihar Hutapea, MS and Head of Community Service, Ir. Asmah Indrawaty, MP.
This activity aims to give a new face in environmental and land management at SMA Negeri 2 Plus Panyabungan and it is hoped that in the future it will become a school that has an Agro Tourism concept.
