Dean of the Faculty of Law Dr. Rizkan Zulyadi, SH, MH accompanied by Head of Civil Code Zaini Munawir, SH, M.Hum attended the invitation of the North Sumatra Police Chief in the activities of the National Dialogue at the Ball Room at the Emerald Hotel Jl. Putri Hijau Medan, 22 October 2019. Focus Group Discussion (FGD) The National Dialogue was opened by the North Sumatra Provincial Police Chief, Inspector General Agus Andrianto.
This activity was also attended by 10 students from the Faculty of Law and also as representatives of students from the University of Medan Area (UMA). The enthusiasm of the students in participating in the FGD activities that were informed by the North Sumatra Regional Police was very apparent from the start of attendance on time 30 minutes before starting the event and also the activeness of students from giving views and also questions about the theme discussed namely "United for the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).
The presence of FH-UMA students in the Focus Group Discussion can increase students' knowledge in the nationality for the unity of the Republic of Indonesia in the future, as explained by Inspector General of Police Agus Andrianto "The young will also replace the older ones. The point is we have to be able to digest what is good and what is not good. The implementation of this FGD can give us a positive example so that it can be applied in the midst of society ".
At the end of the activity, the Dean of the UMA Faculty of Law was accompanied by the Head of the Civil Code and students and also the student participants taking photos with the Inspector General of Police Agus Andrianto.
