University of Medan Area held Graduation Ceremony for Bachelor and Postgraduate Period I 2019 on Saturday June 22, 2019 at the Campus I Arena Medan Area Jl. Pool No. 1 Medan Estate.
On this occasion, the Chancellor of UMA Prof. Dr. Dadan Ramdan, M.Eng M.Sc said, in this period UMA graduated bachelor and master from 20 study programs totaling 656 graduates, consisting of 474 graduates and 182 master programs. The graduates came from 7 faculties, namely Engineering, Agriculture, Economics and Business, Law, Social Sciences and Political Sciences, Psychology, Biology and Postgraduate.
The Chancellor also explained that at this graduation ceremony, UMA deliberately took the theme "In the Face of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution and the Digital Economy of the University of Medan Area Able to Produce Independent and Professional Graduates" as a form of implementation that in the Industrial Era 4.0 it was hoped that UMA students could produce graduates with knowledge high and produce graduates who are Innovative, Personal and Independent. And the Chancellor also explained, for the graduates in taking diplomas at the University of Medan Area can be taken on Monday, June 24, 2019, "he said.
Followed by the Head of LLDIKTI Region I Prof. Dr. Dian Armanto M.Pd., MA., M.Sc., Ph.d. explain congratulations to graduates of the Medan Area University and Masters, I feel proud of the University of Medan Area where there are the most students although in the vicinity of the University Area Medan area there are a lot of universities UMA remains the most students, and I expect the University of Medan Area to open a Doctoral program "If possible, 4 or 2 Doctoral study programs at UMA," he said.
Agus Salim Hajj Education Foundation Drs. M. Erwin Siregar, MBA. explained the Medan Area University under the auspices of the Haji Agus Salim Education Foundation continued to provide scholarships to outstanding students, underprivileged students, bidikmisi students, biological sibling students, and from scholarships from SOE Agencies etc., Medan Area University has achieved many achievements especially in the Greenmetric field. "Going up in rank, Webometrics, outstanding students from international and national competitions, etc., Hopefully the Medan Area University will be more victorious and more superior as the best private campus in North Sumatra," he said.

The award given by Agus Salim Hajj Education Foundation and Medan Area University to lecturers, outstanding educational staff and outstanding students who participated in various UKM activities in various National and International competitions then took a group photo by the Chairman of the Hajj Education Foundation Agus Salim and the Chancellor of UMA.
