Postgraduate University of Medan Area held a visit and socialization of the Agricultural Science Study Program Doctoral Program to the Institute of Higher Education Services (LLDIKTI) Region I of North Sumatra on Wednesday, January 29, 2020. The visit was welcomed by Prof. Dian Armanto, M.Pd., MA., M.Sc., Ph.D as the Head of LLDIKTI Region I of North Sumatra.
In the activity, Rector of the Medan Area University Prof. Dr. Dadan Ramdan, M.Eng., M.Sc. conveyed the readiness of the Medan Area University in opening the lecture of the Agricultural Science Study Program this year and the launching and registration of new students of the Agricultural Science Study Program Doctoral Program. Furthermore Prof. Dr. Ir. Retna Astuti Kuswardani, MS as the Director of the Postgraduate University of Medan Area explained about the concentration, distribution of subjects, and the number of promoters found in the Agricultural Studies Program at the University of Medan Area Doctoral Program. In addition, Prof. Ir. Zulkarnain Lubis, MS, Ph.D as the Head of the Agricultural Science Study Program also explained about the lecture system implemented, the facilities and infrastructure available, teaching materials and lecturers (lecturers).
The Head of LLDIKTI Region I of North Sumatra is very supportive and proud of the University of Medan Area because Medan Area University is a private tertiary institution in North Sumatra that first opened the Agricultural Science Doctoral Program.
