The implementation of Advocate Professional Education (PPA) in 2019 in collaboration between the Faculty of Law and the Indonesian Advocates Association (AAI) officially ended on Friday, March 15 2019 after being held for 1 month.
The closing ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the DPC AAI Medan Dr. Old Judge Harahap SH. MH., Dean of the Faculty of Law, UMA Dr. Rizkan Zulyadi SH. MH., Deputy Dean for Student Affairs Ridho Mubarak SH. MH., Head of Civilization at the Faculty of Law UMA who is also Chair of the PPA Committee Zaini Munawir Lubis SH. M.Hum, and Head of Criminal Procedure Wessy Trisna SH. MH. as well as PPA participants. This activity was closed by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, UMA Dr. Rizkan Zulyadi SH. MH at the Convention Hall, UMA Puskom Building.
PPA Committee Chairman Zaini Munawir Lubis SH. M.Hum in his report said that the PPA implementation which was held for approximately 9 days went smoothly and according to procedures. The Chairperson of the PPA also expressed his gratitude to the Dean of FH-UMA for his support for the implementation of this PPA and also to the PPA Implementing Committees who have made the PPA successful.
The Dean of FH-UMA in his speech said that Advocate Professional Education (PPA) will not end here, and will hold the next education. The Dean of FH-UMA also hopes that the knowledge gained is in accordance with the expectations of the participants to become professional advocates. The same is the case with the hopes of the Chairman of the DPC AAI Medan Dr. Old Judge Harahap SH. MH in his speech hoped that what was gained from the presenters could be applied in the participants so that they would become the basic capital in developing themselves as advocates.
