In an effort to create a quality university capable of competing both nationally and internationally, Medan Area University together with STIE Eka Prasetya, STIH Graha Kirana and STIE Graha Kirana agreed to collaborate by participating in the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka program.
The memorandum of understanding was signed by the Rector of the University of Medan Area Prof. Dr. Dadan Ramdan M.Eng M.Sc, Chairman of STIE Eka Prasetya Dr. Sri Rezeki, SE, M.Si, Chairperson of STIE Graha Kirana Darmawan Sriyanto, SE, M.Si, and Chairman of STIH Graha Kirana Prof. Dr. Mariam Darus, SH, FCBArb, in the Rector Meeting Room at UMA campus I Jalan Kolam No.1 Medan Estate, Ju (7/8/2019). The signing of the MoU was witnessed by the Deputy Chancellor for UMA Cooperation and the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics Bid. Student affairs and leaders from 3 high schools in Medan, North Sumatra.
On that occasion, the Chancellor of the Medan Area University requested that this good moment be realized by implementing it in order to respond to accreditation demands so that colleges or colleges would continue to carry out various good collaborations with foreign and domestic universities and implement the program of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka.
"I hope that it is not just a signature, there is no proof of implementation, there must be evidence of its implementation both at the national and international levels and following the program from the Ministry of Education and Culture, namely Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka as it should be," said the UMA rector.
