The Architecture Study Program of the University of Medan Area successfully held a Bimtek for Higher Education Curriculum Development in the Era of RI 4.0 to Support Free Learning in Merdeka Campus on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, from 08.00 to 13.00 WIB with resource persons, namely Dr. Ir. Syamsul Arifin, M.T.
This seminar was attended by a total of 55 Medan area university lecturers who joined through the Zoom application. Before the implementation of the seminar began, the Chancellor of the Medan Area University gave his speech he said he was grateful that Medan Area University got enlightenment on how to compile a higher education curriculum related to an independent campus, of course, this is something new in UMA, and we know that in UMA, especially the engineering faculty who received a cooperation curriculum grant, of course in this activity there are many things that must be studied with Mr. Ir. Syamsul Arifin, M.T.
The resource person is Mr. Dr. Ir. Syamsul Arifin, M.T. presented his first material "Reconstruction of Higher Education Curriculum 2020" which explained the higher education system law, the C.6 criteria for Apps Education 4.0, and also a guidebook on Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka. In the second material Mr. Dr. Ir. Syamsul Arifin, M.T. explained "Implementation of 3 Semester Maximum Study Rights Outside the Study Program".
After the presentation of the material was finished, Mrs. Sherlly Maulana, ST, MT as the Chair of the Architecture Curriculum Team explained "Reconstruction of KPT 2020 for Architecture Study Program" where she explained curriculum design and implementation of MBKM, Compilation of Supporting Documents, Cooperation of Sustainable Strategy Partners.
