The Career and Entrepreneurship Center Has Been Successful In Organizing Training Events Entering the World of Work (PMDK) Period I 2019


Medan Area University held the 2019 Entrepreneurship Training (PMDK) event which was held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at the Multipurpose Building I Floor 3, Rectorate Building, Universitas Medan Area Jl. Pond No.1 Medan Estate.

The activity was attended by the Rector of Medan Area University, represented by the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Muazzul, SH. M.Hum, Head of Career and Entrepreneurship Center Ahmad Prayudi, SE, MM., Deputy Dean of Biology for Student Affairs Abdul Karim, S.Si, M.Sc, Mr. Sunarto, Head of BAK Sri Irawati, S.Sos, MAP., Head of Programmer's Division Rangga Satya Tarigan, ST, and the prospective students who will graduate later.

Vice Chancellor (WR) III of UMA Muazzul SH MHum when opening the PMDK, Tuesday (6/18) at the convention hall of Campus I of UMA, Jalan Kolam Medan Estate, expects the graduates who will graduate on June 22 this year should not be as job seekers but can create jobs. Because armed with the competencies gained in college, these relatively young graduates have more potential to compete in the job market. By opening employment opportunities, UMA graduates can help the community. Realizing alumni who are ready to compete in the digital era is not only in the form of scientific knowledge, but also prepares alumni to be better prepared to enter the world through PMDK activities. They are guided so they are better prepared to enter the new world, "he said.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the UMA Career and Entrepreneurship Center (FKK), Ahmad Prayudi SE MM, said PMDK was an effort by UMA to bridge students with the world of work. Because not all materials are available at the work world during lectures on campus. So this training is a gateway for UMA students to enter the workforce. We prepare them how to enter the gate like how to deal with interview techniques, make the latest job applications, including online job applications, how to make self-concepts and how to sell self-intelligence to get into the world of work and so on, so this is very important, "said Prayudi.

Followed by Head of Programming Division, Rangga Satya Tarigan, ST, in his presentation explained how to send documents to apply for work, where we have to complete our documents from diplomas, transcripts, job application letters, CVs, ID cards, photos, certificates and other supporting documents. .
